Worry Dolls

The "Muñequita Quitapenas" (Worry Doll) is part of Guatemalan culture and tradition. It was once used with children to prevent night terrors, but today it is so widespread that it is used worldwide.

The Mayan legend says:

" If you tell your fears or worries to the doll before going to sleep and then put it under your pillow, the next day they will be gone ."
